A New Angle

OK, so some of the best opportunities for interesting photography are when you are travelling. But most of us aren't exactly gridskippers. The subjects available to us most of the time can seem pretty bland. But don't let your camera just get dusty in between vacations to Europe (or Wisconsin). Try shooting familiar objects, in unfamiliar ways. Instead of shooting it straight on, get on a ladder, or get on the ground and change your perspective. Instead of framing the entire subject, zoom in on one particular aspect of the subject.

Now you have a unique perspective on your subject, and a unique photograph!
