Keep A Journal

The biggest mistake I made while travelling through Europe last June, was not keeping a journal. Not only will I forget little details and quips from daily life in Europe, but I have thousands of photographs of buildings I no longer know the name of. The more famous ones are obvious, but for example, this building is part of a religious college in Oxford, England, but I have no idea which one.







I suppose the name of the building isn't THAT important, but it would be nice to know. I'd also like to remember what was going through my head that day. What was the weather like, what were the people like, did anything funny happen.... I could have also written down notes to remind myself how I obtained a certain shot, such as exposure details. Live and learn.
